Why is Independent Living at Parc at Traditions a better option than staying in my home?

As we get older and our mobility decreases, seclusion can become a problem. Isolation has proven to have an adverse effect on one’s health. Despite our best efforts, it can become more difficult to stay connected with friends and family. Our social lives, intellectual pursuits, diet and wellness can suffer. Simultaneously, worries about day-to-day home maintenance, safety and health tend to increase. Suddenly, we realize we aren’t enjoying life the way we should. Parc at Traditions provides the opportunity to reclaim one’s vitality and live securely among friends in the comfort and stability of a lifestyle choice that is designed with you in mind. Listen to some of our residents share how the Parc lifestyle has changed their lives.

What makes Parc at Traditions so different from other senior living options in the area?

While we are proud of our beautiful community, our spacious apartment homes, our unique features and our exceptional food, it is our people that distinguish Parc from other senior living communities. We are guided by the philosophy of “ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen,” incorporating service standards that were developed for Parc Communities by Horst Schulze, the former president of Ritz-Carlton Hotels. Indeed, every attentive, responsive and friendly member of the Parc staff is trained to uphold this signature standard of excellence.

When is the right time to move to an Independent Living community?

Each individual’s circumstance is unique. The decision to move into a senior living community depends upon you and your loved ones. At Parc, we have counseled with thousands of families. We can help assess your particular situation and understand what options might be best for you and your family. Consistently we know two things to be true – that your quality-of-life will most certainly be enriched at a Parc community, and at some point you will likely find yourself wondering why you didn’t make the decision to move sooner. Listen to some of our residents share how the Parc lifestyle has changed their lives.
